Last month for Black History Month, Judge Kani H. Hightower and Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer sponsored, “Black History in our Courts” at the Summit County Courthouse recognized the legacy of Black judges who have shaped justice in our community, including our own Judge Kani H. Hightower of the Domestic Relations Court.
As the first Black judge elected to that bench and now Presiding Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, Judge Hightower’s leadership reflects progress rooted in service. In a court that serves families at pivotal moments, representation and trust matter.
