Mr. Throckmorton, who assumed his position with the Court in early 1999, is an attorney whose primary area of expertise is in legal information technology issues.

Mr. Throckmorton currently serves as a member of the Ohio Courts Digital Signatures Project, beginning that assignment in April of 2000.  In August of 2000, Mr. Throckmorton was appointed by Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Moyer to serve on the Technology Advisory Board of the Supreme Court of Ohio.  He also served as a member of the Steering Committee of the Ohio Courts Futures Commission and Co-Chair of that commission's Technology Task Force from March of 1997 through April of 2000.  Other accomplishments include service as Chair of the Implementation Committee for the Electronic Case Files Project for the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, and service as Chair and Vice-Chair for the Law Office Technology Committee of the Akron Bar Association.
